Whether you're preparing for your wedding or taking classes for fun, our goal at Once Upon a Dance (OUD) is simple: to make the dance serve you rather than vice versa. We pride ourselves in making technique "digestible" as well as offering an emotionally comfortable space for even the most inexperienced dancer. Anyone who thinks they have two left feet will be proven wrong! OUD also offers programs for children of all ages with the goal of inspiring physical as well as emotional well-being. Our home base is in the San Gabriel Valley, CA, but upon arrangement, we can travel to where you are, as long as within the LA area. Check out our website and stay in touch!

Greetings!
My name is Paulina Vallin and I'm the owner of OUD.
I have taught dance for the last 20 years and performed in various disciplines. My absolute nr 1 priority is the emotional aspect of dancing and what it can do for our confidence and our connection with both ourselves and others. Whatever your reason for taking classes is, our goal is to make it an enjoyable journey while challenging your "dance-view" of yourself. I say that because many of our students come in and say, "I have no rhythm!" or "I have two left feet!" Guess what? They're always wrong!
